There has been talk of a supergroup being created with some of the leading men in the music industry. Nelly dishes to MTV News that Pharrell, T-Pain, Akon and himself are talking about doing a project. “We got a host of things we’re trying to do, possibly put together this new 2009 [Bell Biv DeVoe] type of thing. It’s more about the music than anything. You wanna do things you can be remembered by. Make a mark. I think that’s something that’s foremost on all our minds.”
When Pharrell was asked what he thought of the group, he didn’t seem as enthusiastic to talk about it as Nelly, “I’m kinda like the only one that adheres to the oath of secrecy. I don’t wanna break that… I’m supposed to be upholding my end of the bargain.”
Two rules of Nelly’s supergroup:
1) Uphold the Oath of Secrecy.
2) Don’t worry about the Nelly’s supergroup’s Oath of Secrecy if you’re Nelly.
