It seems as though we can’t avoid the truth any longer, the economy is sliding closer on a daily basis toward recession and the American dollar is stretched thin.
What does this mean for students at college campuses around the nation? Will there still be the promised jobs of yesterday awaiting the graduating class of 2009? [...]

With the stock market plummeting and the rest of the economy spiraling out of control, money is becoming less and less accessible. With business’ as well as other institutions feeling the effects of such harsh times, it made me wonder if PLU, specifically the athletic department, was taking any hit from the economy.
